As a Detroit Lions fan and football enthusiast, I question the "establishment" date of the Lions reflected on this page as 1930. The Portsmouth Spartans (proto-Lions) were established as an amateur team in 1928 and played two seasons as amateurs, per the references within this article. I am well aware they didn't become a professional football team until their NFL charter in 1930 however, another NFL team, the Arizona Cardinals were established in 1898 as an amateur team, 22 years before even the APFA (proto-NFL) was founded. Therefore, the Lions' establishment date on this page should be 1928, with an infobox edit to highlight it's two years as an independent team. Also, the Lions organization only celebrate the years they spent in Detroit and just celebrated their "90th" anniversary, making the 1930 date here even more irrelevant.
